Hutto
Hutto is a lovely city and has a charming legend that once, an escaped hippo caused a little mayhem in the nearby communities. Ever since the hippo has been the mascot of this city and embodies the town’s strength, pride, community, and tradition.
The city has been recognized as one of the best places in the US to raise a family. Schools have a very low student-to-teacher ratio, the area is safe and open, and near to all that Austin and other neighboring cities have to offer. With so much going for it, Hutto is a great place for all the family to live, work, and play.
WHAT TO LOVE
Encompassing a total of 167 acres, Hutto’s five parks give residents an escape from the city’s hustle and bustle. These green spaces include Adam Orgain Park, Creekside Park, Fritz Park, Hutto Community Park, and Hutto Lake Park.
Massive business investment. A $25 billion chip plant is being built within the area by Samsung and is slated to open mid 2024. Not only has it brought employment in for construction but when it opens it will provide a massive boost to both employment and the economy of Hutto.
Dining in Shopping in Hutto. Don’t miss out on Hutto’s food scene by dropping by the Stockade Kitchen, Texan Café & Pie Shop, and Julio’s Mexican Restaurant.
